“Transforming education begins with teachers” was the theme highlighted for World Teachers’ Day on 5 October. Educators at every level can make a lasting difference in a child’s life. Quantum BITS works with Lina’s Little Einsteins, a modern kindergarten focused on helping young children build strong foundations for learning and life. We spoke with the school about its approach.
Early-years educators introduce children to structured learning and play an important role in their development. The interview also noted that the term “preschool education” can be too broad: in Greece, kindergarten-age children attend compulsory kindergarten as part of primary education, while younger children need appropriate early-childhood provision.
The school’s view is that parents are a child’s first educators. Teachers have a leading role in children’s learning and a complementary role in other aspects of their development, keeping parents informed so that challenges can be prevented, addressed or supported.
Lina’s Little Einsteins aims to help children enjoy learning, build knowledge, become more independent, develop confidence, work as part of a group and feel ready for primary school. The school also values active parent engagement in each child’s progress.
